1996 Fontanafredda Vigna La Rosa, Barolo DOCG, Piedmont

A surprise towards the end of the night was this great Barolo.

Deep ruby colour, aromas included spice and tobacco, with spice and fruit flavours and a medium to long finish. Great wine!
